Winterline Barista Enhancement Program
Introduction
A hands-on coffee training program designed for aspiring baristas, café owners, and coffee enthusiasts. The focus is on practical learning through espresso machines, grinders, and manual brewing equipment, supported by take-home learning resources for continued study.
About the Program
The Winterline Barista Enhancement Program is an intensive three-day experience that builds a strong foundation in specialty coffee preparation, brewing techniques, and customer experience.
Participants will learn the essentials of espresso extraction, dialing in recipes, grind adjustment, dosing, and milk texturing for espresso-based beverages. The program also covers workflow efficiency, equipment maintenance, and café best practices.
Beyond espresso, the course explores roast profiles, extraction science, water quality, and the factors that influence cup quality. Participants will gain hands-on experience with industry tools and learn how different variables impact flavor and consistency.
The program also introduces popular manual brewing methods including V60, Chemex, Aeropress, French Press, Moka Pot, Cold Brew, and Siphon Brewing.
